The rates for high-quality translations depend on:
- the subject matter and difficulty of the text,
- the length of the text,
- the time available for completing the translation and
- the purpose of the translation (its intended use).
The rates given here are for general information only. Specific details can only be given once the source text has been received and analysed.
German<>English: from EUR 1.45/standard line
German<>French, Italian, Spanish: from EUR 1.50/standard line
Other languages and combinations upon request.
These rates are per standard line (1 standard line comprises 55 characters including spaces) of the target text (the final translation).
All rates are exclusive of 20% Austrian VAT. If you are a company with offices in the EU, you may be exempt from it. Please provide your European VAT number.
Technical texts
The rate increases by up to 30%, depending on the level of difficulty.
Rush surcharge
Urgent translations (incl. overnight and weekend work) will be completed
at an additional charge of +30%.
Minimum charge
Smaller jobs will be charged at a minimum rate of EUR 50.
Delivery
Translations are usually delivered by e-mail. Should you wish to have
it sent by regular mail or courier service, there will be an extra charge
for the costs entailed.
Payment terms
You will receive an invoice by regular mail, which must be paid within
14 days from date of invoice. You can pay by bank transfer or Paypal.
